If you’re new to everything Search Engine Optimization means, if you want to see a great presentation of the topic or if you just want to expand your horizons, there’s one SEO book I recommend named simply ‘SEO Book’ because it’s actually the only decent book approaching the subject.
It's a 328 page ebook, regularly updated as the SEO world evolves, available for download at a one time $79 fee. The good thing is that even if you don't buy the ebook, you still have a lot (and I mean a LOT) to learn from the free sections.
I personally like the SEO glossary which is a great free reading resource for both beginners and experienced webmasters. Then it's the SEO tools section. For example, did you know about this tool: https://adwords.google.com/select/TrafficEstimatorSandbox. I didn't but now I find it invaluable.
You also get the SEO news, eventually with a special offer from time to time as it appears. As I write this, I also see that Microsoft released in public beta a new keyword tool that goes beyond what Google and Yahoo offer - Ad Intelligence. And guess what - it's currently free!
Enough said - this is the SEO Book page and from there you'll be able to browse all the free site section if you decide not to buy.
Now, if you decide to buy, you'll also receive a few bonuses:
- PDF sheet with the most useful tools for a SEOer (most of the free)
- Interviews of some of the top names in the Search Marketing industry.
- Free lifetime updates
- A list of the best reading materials you can get on SEO topics (for no extra fee)
Enjoy
